Who we are

A single, focused job: employing your people in Bolivia

EOR Bolivia is an Employer of Record built around one market. We hold a Bolivian company, the tax registration and the employer enrolments with the health fund and the pension administrator, and we use them to contract, pay and support your employees under the General Labour Law. You keep full control of the work; we carry the employment and payroll responsibility.

Because we do one thing in one country, we know the detail that catches people out: that an exit handled badly can end with your employee reinstated and a bill for the intervening months, that a fixed term contract used for permanent work is not a fixed term contract, that the minimum wage is reset each year and applied backwards to January, and that a late final settlement carries a surcharge rather than an apology.

Where we are

Santa Cruz de la Sierra, with coverage across Bolivia including La Paz, Cochabamba, Sucre, Oruro and Tarija, and the ability to extend across the Andes and the Southern Cone on request.

How we work

Principles we hold to

Plan the exit at the start

In a market where dismissal at will does not exist, the time to think about how a role ends is when it begins. We ask that question early because it costs nothing then and a great deal later.

Straight about the structure

Bolivia restricts labour intermediation. We are a direct employer, we say so plainly, and we encourage clients to take their own legal advice rather than rely on our marketing.

Both sides of the number

We quote employer cost and employee net together, and we date every statutory figure, because the minimum wage moves annually and the currency has moved considerably.
